The New Yorker

As The New Yorker’s only multimedia producer on the Social Media team, I create original projects, such as videos, photos, and graphics. I also launched The New Yorker on TikTok, by combining original New Yorker content that is repurposed for TikTok and creating original videos and documentaries for the platform.

I pitched, shot, produced and edited an original social-first documentary about the aftermath of the 2022 shooting at Tops in Buffalo, NY. This was the first of this kind of project for The New Yorker, as I am charged with increasing original multimedia content on social platforms.

I’ve also created extra multimedia assets to run alongside the print product, such as these videos about a new language for DeafBlind people, recreating Ernest Hemingway’s day at The Met, how an agoraphobic woman travels virtually, an environmental tragedy at the U.S.-Mexican border, poaching in Jamaica Bay, the premiere of the movie “Spiderhead,” and more.
