As as news associate, I rotated through different departments at CNBC to learn about broadcast and digital news.

Podcast:

I was one of three producers for “Squawk Pod,” the 30-minute podcast based on the morning TV show Squawk Box. For episodes, click here.

Investigative:

I assisted with research, interviewing sources and producing CNBC Investigates’ stories.

Closing Bell:

I produced segments for the show that airs 3-5 p.m. every weekday. It focuses on the last hour of the trading day and the day’s market activities.

During the summer of 2017, I was a scholar as part of the CNBC Summer Fellowship program. I split my time between producing on the show Closing Bell and working on the Breaking News desk.

I produced my own segments on Closing Bell by assisting producers with research, making graphics and pre-interviewing guests.

On the Breaking News desk, I was sent out on shoots, wrote webstories, attended news meetings, ran the CNBC Travel Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and assisted on the set at the New York Stock Exchange.
